It's all about giving the level designer more tools, more options. It's not like they had to pick one or the other.

And just to be more on topic: ummmm. Bloodbowl 2 is 60% off. I haven't played it. Who cares. People can look at the Steam sales tab, this thread is kinda pointless. :p

Ouch, apologies if I was in error. Since it listed the base game at the top I thought it was part of the deal. They should make it much more obvious if it doesn't include the base game, in my opinion.

I had fun with the Demon's Rise games. A lot of replay value because of many different classes. Just don't expect much of a story.
