No, there's nothing been officially known. Since the Lucas Arts layoff news broke last week this is the closest there's been anything official on any new KotOR.
There's been tremendous speculation since Bioware opened their Austin studios and announced it would focus on MMORPG's.
Bio had in the past expressed their extreme distaste of working with a 3rd Party's IP again after the experience of WotC, Atari and Interplay all interfering with their development - re: the cancellation of several digital downloads, including the incredible Hex Coda. They have turned down in the past offers to make BG3 and KotOR2. But then it was confirmed that they had a deal with Lucas Arts.
The latter lead to speculation that a KotOR 3 was in the works as a single player console game because of the name. Fans had tossed around the name KotORO for a MMOG.
The LA layoffs recently lead to anonymous leaks to confirm KotOR 3 was an MMORPG. There's still nothing official however from LA or Bioware themselves.
Sometimes official news gets leaked however, due to companies registering trademarks with the Feds. I believe this is how we knew about the Sonic the Hedgehog game and Mass Effect. I don't remember anything on KotOR3 or a KotORO being registered but I could be mistaken.
