Code 43 error with video card.

I haven't checked but Intel cpus with integrated gpus should be cheaper for *non-gaming*.

Of course I didn't mean real AI, that's centuries away, but already a lot can be faked so much better than they are now. It's a pity. Admittedly it still mostly comes down to complicated decision trees and clever scripting atm (but then again that's what 'real' AI research comes down to anyways today)

10 years ago a very popular gpu was gtx 7800. How does ryzen 2 or hd620 compare to 7800?
In the PassMark 3D benchmark, Intel HD 620 is comparable to a GTX 9800, which came out just over 10 years ago. The current HD 630 doesn't fare much better.

If you want an Intel CPU with decent on-CPU graphics, there are "G" models now that include AMD graphics, for example the i7 8809G which includes a Radeon RX Vega M GH.

I finally heard back from Gigabyte today via the following email..

Dear Customer,

We have finished the complete diagnosis of RMA# USA-1861528, and unfortunately your item, GV-N98TG1 GAMING-6GD, was not repairable. For this particular model, we are out of stock right now.

Therefore, we cannot make a replacement for you at this moment. Please check the following link at

https://www.gigabyte.com/us/Graphics-Card/GV-N1080WF3OC-8GD#kf

and see if this model, GV-N1080WF3OC-8GD, is acceptable for you.

Thank you and sorry about the inconvenience.

The bastards! How dare they replace my GTX 980 Ti with an overclocked GTX 1080! ;)

I agree. You should reject the 1080 and demand a GTX 980 ti. If they don't have one in stock they should make one for you.
