DA:I DAI drops oldgen consoles support

Basically, all upcoming content aka DLC won't be available on PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, but their owners can migrate to currentgen ones.

Most important is this however:
Multiplayer data migrations, savegame exports and imports to or from PC are not supported.


Expected next move - DAI abandoning PC too. No, not because of upcoming DLC… Seems it's just too complicated to patch the code on it.

Considering how much working features had to be cut from the game when they ported it to the old gen consoles because they couldn't handle it, I'm not surprised one bit by this news. Really, they shouldn't have released the game on the old gen at all, but EA went for the $$$ instead of common sense.

I really doubt they are going to drop the PC version though, it's basically the XBox 1 version (with prettier graphics on high settings and mouse/keyboard support).

It's probably about how much they sold on the old platforms more than anything else.
