GameReactor interviewed XCOM 2 art director Greg Foertsch.

Just before E3 Firaxis made us very happy when they announced Xcom 2, the upcoming sequel to one of our favourite strategy games of recent years.

During E3 we were then able to catch up with art director Greg Foertsch who talked us through some of the big changes coming in the sequel, including new human and alien classes and what it's like playing on the side that lost the first game (the studio has since explained that your winning campaign in Enemy Unknown is not canon - humanity lost).

"It plays really well to what Xcom is at its core, right? You start out with very little and you grow it into something fantastic, and the whole rebel approach, it's perfect for that," Foertsch told us when asked about the new scenario.
