Getter77 points out an open-source action/RPG called Summoning Wars, which has hit v0.51. I can't see a good description of the project but you can read about this latest update here, or download it here.

Oops! here's the high points at this version progress wise as the forum is kinda weird:
"Major changes are:
Programming:
* Improved target selection system
* Enabled fast-forward with a click into the game windows in dialogs
* Dialogs use only two corners now
* Enabled equipping items with right-click
* restricted camera-movement
* Single-player game may be paused with ESC now
* XML-Based options storage system
* Double-Click on Savegame immediately loads it
Build system:
* Added support for cmake build system
Sounds:
* Added drop sounds for most items
* Added alternative sounds for arrow
Graphics:
* Added Worldmap
* Changed Heal and Heal Party Skill Icons
Translation:
* Added full English translation and set this as default option
Apart from that, there were a lot of bugs and minor glitches fixed of course."
Beyond that, I'd say a good way to describe the game is a snarky, almost black comedy at times, ARPG where the story add flavor to the world as opposed to a straight hack n' slash fest. It seems to have some dev momentum going, and the ranks for people helping with this or that technical/artistic tasks is growing, so this should wind up a rather nifty thing depending on how the release pace turns out.

I think that's somewhere on the to-do list, one of those things where it has to be thought up and deliberated on perhaps in another language, then translated and put onsite, and so on. One or more trailers was also in the works last I checked.
