@muhabot: Yeah the music is great, it's quite different, my favourite track was this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5f1Dqzc5o9A especially the part after 4:40. If you want we can set up a multiplayer game over tunngle, I've tested and the game works just fine over LAN.
On a side, I just did a challenge of running through the game at wizard difficulty without doing any of the updates (basically playing the game with 3 spells, and without updating any stats) - here are the saves if anybody's interested on what spells I used/tactics: https://www.dropbox.com/s/w5pypsxjw5ju0p5/Save.7z?dl=0

It's been a while. I remember liking it when I played it first, but had a go of it a few years back and didn't stick with it. Sacrifice is sort of similar to it?
