Regular length episode. But even as slow as most of it was (and by slow I mean low zombie) it was still pretty good.
It would have to run out at some point but I really like the flashback stuff.

you guys are killing me, I'm dying to hit the spoiler tags! Even tho I have a strong suspicion that someone's blood revealed something… I'm not looking.
The hospital flashback was essential viewing, I'm so glad that they chose to flesh that part out a bit.
… which is saying something, coming from me. I want horror and zombies, and now I'm drawn into "The unDead and the Restless". Really tho, the way theyre handling the rick/lori/shane thing is not overbearing, they arent flogging us with it. That's good.
Overall it was a great episode. We both have really come to like the old man, Dale - watch his face, his facial expressions are great! He's also not just some hero character - i get the feeling that he's honorable and wise, and one of the most human characters in the script. He does a great job, I cant help but like the guy. His last scene of the season w/ Andrea solidified him as awesome. Dale rocks!

While watching the replay last night, I noticed a scene that I must have missed the first time.
The scene was when Rick wanders down to where Jenner is hanging out during the night, and asks him - "So how'd those blood test turn out?" Jenner replied - "Nothing surprising".
After that, I take back my theory about what Jenner wispered to Rick. Although I think there's a chance that particular situation could still happen anyways, I think it's far more likely now to be something along the lines of what skavenhorde revealed.

It might be we're both right because I was going on the assumption that they are going to add a new twist to for this TV show that wasn't fully developed in the comic. That woudn't really be breaking the storyline from the comic because they never really talked about
Spoiler – Spoiler
Your theory could be just as valid though.

Frank Darabont, creator and executive producer of of AMC's hit zombie series, The Walking Dead, is stepping down as show runner, Deadline reports.
Production on TWD's second, 13-episode season, now shooting in Atlanta, shouldn't be affected by Darabont's departure, and he may stay on the show in in some capacity.
