Thanks, I'll print this off for future reference. As I recall, the only tricky part in my original build was mounting the CPU and putting in the RAM. Everything else snapped or screwed into place easily. Unless a person is truly ham-fisted, the process is almost fool-proof now.

Depends on the case to be honest. If it's a good case with enough space and good slots, then yes, it's fairly straight forward. However, smaller cases can become quite cramped, which might cause some issues when jamming in the last components + wires from the power supply.
I just built one myself, though I already had a few spare parts lying around which reduced the price significantly (a spare ATI 5870, DVD RW, case and PSU).
