So hows yours? Here is som evolutionary pictures of mine.

Its a work in progress. It wasnt until this year I started to take notice on stuff like interior design and colors. Just to hide all wiring is a job itself.

Damn… not wanting to be judgmental, but you're mad !!! :O

First of, why do you need 50 inch monitors when you're sitting in front of them ??
Second, why do you need TWO of them ?
Third, are you preparing for the zombie apocalypse ?

Good TV costs less than old crappy car. Its not really that expensive. Also TV is somthing you can use for years on. Its a good investment.

Interesting speaker stands you have there Jemy. One day I'll upgrade to a 5.1 or 7.1 speaker system. Do you ever feel the wires get in the way?

I do like the last setup from the original post…too bad California is very restrictive with gun laws.

I have 5.1 myself. I could add two more to center or up (z-axis) but havent felt it necessery. Having more than three speakers limits the placing of everything in the room. I hide my wires behind sofas, table, battery and even table cloth. There are atk-"pipes" I could try hiding them into too but havent tried that.

You might see I am sitting in an L with two bar-stools as speaker-stands? Since I am sitting in an L the stools are so close to the table so the cables are under the table, never for me to trip on (except that I recently moved it which you can see on the photo). I have managed to tip the speakers twice since i bought them and thats so many years ago that I forgot when. Nightmare to dustbust under the table though.

Without the L, if your table are towards a wall, with your back to the room, I would go for a sturdier stand.

I won't post it, because it looks far too much untidy …

… But I have already plans to change that in my new appartment I'm planning to go to this year …

Talking about untidy… the yellow bag contains RPG books and papers related to the current PnP I am leading.

I just ordered both playstation and xbox 360 motion controllers. Thinking of trying to stick them to the top of the TV if they are not too heavy. The living room is very large so there is plenty room. One of the things I like in the apartment.
