BioWare Warns of SWTOR Beta Scams

It seems to me this is not just a warning of the typical spam that occasionally bypasses the email filters but a dire pronouncement to those would be entrepreneurs who would want to cash in on their early access.

This is more than a gaming based issue. It appears the heavy duty identity thieves have found a new way to hook people. I bet we see this across many game arenas. Welcome to the lowlife thief with a PC.
