Angry Joe Reviews

Just discovered this guy's reviews, spreading the word because I think he's cool. I like watching video reviews more than reading them, because you get actual footage of the game. I like his reviews kinda like Zero Punctuation - he's funny and although his reviews are padded w/ a lot of cheesy sketch humor, he covers the bases. And there's a ton of them on relevant games. Youtube cuts them short, so you definitely want to watch them directly from the site.

He's got Risen, Dragon Age, etc too. Havent gotten to them yet !

He's quite annoying imho. I'd also avoid the Risen review.

Well at least it was the Xbox version, which I heard was pretty bad. Still, he's pretty harsh on some games, and some of his scores just don't make sense to me. He gave Dragon Age:Origins a 9, but then gave Awakening a 5.

I knew not to take him seriously when I saw that he gave FarCry 2 a 9.

I've liked his reviews for awhile. I may not agree with some of them, but he does back up his numbers with solid reasons as to why he did or didn't like a particular game. I may not particular care for those reasons, like in his Risen review, but I can see where he is coming from unlike many sites like Gamespot that spit out 9s and 10s for big publishers.
