Now, now, now. Mass market American Beer is atrocious (Bud, Coors, Miller, etc.), but some of the smaller breweries are quite good (and I am a beer snob). Shiner, Sam Adams (though they have grown they still make a very good beer, love the Black Lager), Brooklyn come to mind.

Yes, I'm pretty sure there are a lot of high quality small breweries over there.( And frankly, since I've never tasted american beer, I really don't know what I'm talking about. I just like Monty Python.)

that's a Singha, been trying the asian beers a lot lately.. it's really good. I agree that "mainstream" American beer is all the fun of pissing and getting a headache. I drank that stuff when I didnt know any better, life's too short for crap like Budwieser. At the very least, go north or south w/ a Moosehead or Pacifico respectively. If i do go US beer, I'll do a Stone Brewery "Levitation" ale (cant do the "arrogant bastard" tho, blech) or the Airdale "dark and stormy"s. Some other little IPA's that'll knock your socks off here and there.

Generally, my beer preferences are Fat Tire, Longboard, Newcastle, and Bass ale, when I'm feeling frisky I'll reach for the Boddingtons. I'll have to give a shout-out to the Fosters Lager, Corwin. It's not that bad ='.'=

Right now, I'm wearing my Tiger Army "Dark Romance Tour 2005" shirt, but I'm kinda being a poser because I wasnt there. I like the music and have all the cds tho, so it's ok. At work it's casual friday, but unfortunately I have to still wear pants - but between us I am "commando" at the moment!

Sammy, I hate to tell you this, but no-one in Oz drinks Fosters. It's the CRAP we export to the US, cause you guys will drink anything!!
