The Witcher 2 only support 16:9 resolutions

I'm a bit surprised over the 4:3 backlash because, personally, I'd rather have the wider view than fill the screen but chop off the sides. When we had an old 4:3 TV and first started watching DVDs, I quickly realised it looked cramped to chop off the sides and settled on letterbox as the best compromise.

I read the thread in CDPR forums , although i own both 16:9 and 16:10 monitors i think that this game is made for consoles , from what people say 1st video of the game was played with a pad.
Shame on CDPR.

Oh wait, it's totally not (and even if it was it would still be awesome).

But with The Witcher 3 or maybe 4, I bet you'll be right.
Just forget the KB and mouse, and welcome to the joyful gamepad with an awesome button and the wonderful world of kinect.

There's nothing wrong with playing a PC game on a console pad. As long as it is an option and not forced on you then what is the problem? I played Two Worlds 2 on the Xbox pad and enjoyed it. The pads are never going to replace a keyboard and mouse on PC games they are just an option and I like having the option.
What's worse to me is Dragon Age 2 which is a console game not enabling the option to run the game pad on the PC version. Why? It's probably just EA being lazy but if you have that function then give the PC players the choice.

If it isn't forced, then there might be only one problem… making the UI thinking in gamepads and not in KB+Mouse.

The game is a PC exclusive at release. It might get ported to consoles later and they might have had this in mind, but do you really think the main platform and the only platform at release will get a game that feels like a port?
Come on, this is taking the normal whining to a whole new level. CDP is giving is a big budget PC RPG exclusive in 2011 and they get bitched at for minor stuff? Ridiculous. They should be getting nightly praises.

Like the highlight in Human Revolution. If it wasn't that "whining" they wouldn't make it optional.
So I guess for you we should never speaking badly, if we don't like one feature, before the game lauch? Ok.
No more debate then.

Yes, I know you will. You've been crying this entire time, I don't expect you to stop now.
