Top 3 awaited games (SP)
April 26th, 2011, 16:54
Just a little fun.
If we assume most of the great titles in the near future make it out in 2011 - what would be your top 3 list? Let's stick to SP games, as I have at least 3 MMOs that I'm equally interested in - but they're kinda boring to talk about, right?
Mine:
1. Deus Ex: HR
2. Risen 2
3. Skyrim

1. Duke Nukem Forever
The other places have many contenders but there can be no doubt about the first place. There can be only one!

Skyrim
The Witcher 2
L.A. Noire
If it was just RPGs I'd replace LA Noire with Risen 2.

1. Skyrim (and no, it's not for the sexy name).
2. The Witcher 2 (and no, it's not for the sexy scenes).
3. HR: Deus Ex (obviously)
predictable?

I still have to play the first one…. and probably should have waited for the "complete" collection - ME 1,2,3 + DLC pack.

Hehe, I didn't expect it to be THAT similar - but I guess the big titles appeal across the board.
I'm surprised to see L.A. Noire feature so broadly, though, given it's a console exclusive and hardly an RPG.
I look forward to it myself, but GTAIV was a disappointment - and I'm not sure this isn't just a playable movie. Haven't followed development at all - and Rockstar DO create masterpieces - but I don't know. The gist I get, is that it's more of an experiment than a truly solid design. But I'll take any kind of innovation these days - and if this helps bring genres forward in some way - I'm all for it.

1. The Witcher 2
2. Deus Ex: HR
3. Age Of Decadence
Runner up is Duke Nukem Forever.
And no, no Skyrim for me. I'll get excited when it gets good reviews, not earlier.

1. Risen 2
2. ME3
3. Not sure to be honest. KoA: Reckoning, DS3, Skyrim, Diablo 3 and TW2 all look like they have a lot of promise, but they can also fail miserably at meeting my expectations.
