Now for something a little harder.
This one from my youth really excited me. Still does. Manic, I know. Steve Albini before he became a big name producer for the Pixies, Nirvana, etc…
Big Black - Kerosene
and even more crazy
Big Black - Stinking Drunk

My favorite haunting dark wave band and album. Nice ambient sections interspersed with rhythms. This album to me is a masterpiece of the '80s. 30 years later doesn't sound dated one bit. Headphones recommended.

Lovely acoustic cover of Mercy Street.

He's using an altered drop D tuning with an F#, and it's pretty easy to play this way, except for one big stretch.

This is a bit challenging but I really like it.
He Said - Only One I II
Less dense, more pop, but similar, and still great too.
Art of Noise - Beatbox
not to forget their classic
Art of Noise - Moments in Love
excellent as well
Art of Noise - Close (To The Edit)

Started today with one of my favorite Zappa albums. I could play the drums to "The Gumbo Variation" and "Willie the Pimp" all day long
Frank Zappa - Hot Rats

Yeah Zappa had alot of variation in his music. My favorites are Joe's Garage, Hot Rats, Sheik Yerbouti, One Size Fits All, Thing Fish, and anything where he just sits back and jams on the guitar (Shut Up and Play Your Guitar). Pretty much the stuff from late 70's - mid 80's

I recently discovered crypt of the necrodancer. At least the music that is. Now I'm not into techno, dance, synch, etch. But those tracks sound pretty cool
