3 songs do not constitute a binge. Look at the last page for examples of binges.

I'm super-excited -- years ago I had to talk my sister into giving Samuel Barber a listen, and she just emailed me that this April when she's back in the US I'm going to get to hear her sing Knoxville: Summer of 1915.

Sorry, I'm still stuck in trance mode … so here's my old favorite (from '93):
Lunatic Asylum - The Meltdown. It's basically Toto's 'Dune' title track, just … different.

This puts me in the mood for this techno classic
Apotheosis - O Fortuna
And another goodie from the Carpets
Inspiral Carpets - Joe

It's techno alright … I first heard it on a Trancemaster sampler named 'Aural Brainfood'.
Don't get me started on acid house, rave and stuff produced by Rollo Armstrong before he turned into Faithless … *eg*
Baby Ford - Fetish
Westbam - I can't stop
Quadrophonia - Original Statement
Quadrophonia - Quadrophonia
OT Quartet - Hold that sucker down

Oh man Rollo was so fantastic before Faithless.
Hold that Sucker Down is a classic.
Also more Inspiral Carpets.
Inspiral Carpets - Plane Crash
Very reminiscence of early Floyd. Cool psychedelia ala Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun and Interstellar Overdrive.

Hold that Sucker Down gives me shivers. Funny how memories work.
Here's another great Rollo tune.
More on the progressive house side of trance with choral strings. Has that piano break.
Rollo Goes Mystic - Love, Love, Love Here I Come
and short video version
Check out all the great Rollo productions compiled here.

This reminds me of the more mellow techno somehow

All Right sort of morphs into 80s disco.

Carpet Ride… had forgotten about that one too. That takes me back to a very specific time and happy PLACE.

This is a must see, both because the visuals are terribad and because I think there's a pretty good song somewhere in there:

Asdraguuhl, she's never done Scheherezade, but she'll be singing Ravel's Greek Songs when she's here as well.
