Must have sounded great. These songs sound best for me on headphones.
I have an audiophile system at home, but the receiver, I think, has rotted away.

Way back to the origin of house music. 1986. Yes, another classic. Still jams.
Steve "Silk" Hurley - Jack Your Body
The queen of disco with a great piano / gospel / garage house tune. 1994. Love the vocal.
Donna Summer - Melody of Love (Morales Classic Club Mix)
Alright, cheesing it up a bit on Friday. Here's a funny one. Check out the campy video if you are an Absolutely Fabulous fan. I guess this is techno / euro house?
Pet Shop Boys - Absolutely Fabulous (Direct Hit Remix)

Hmm… I seem to be getting to close to finding all my favorite 90's trance songs. In the remnants, there's this one. A little darker and slower. Bit of a tricky vocal stomper. More progressive, but definitely trancey with a cool organ break. Hybrid, verging on NRG. Not too formulaic.
E'Voke - I Believe (12" Mix)
And a stringy carnival organ remix by Tin Tin Out with some squelchy trance elements. Hypnotic.
E'Voke - I Believe (A Tin Tin Out Mix)
Faster, more trancey, Verging on NRG / Hard Trance. Less melody from the the vocal.
E'Voke - I Believe (Tall Paul Mix)
I prefer the 12" Mix
Also this classic piano NRG track. Wonderful song and vocal. I'm sure if you are this young you'll remember the song, at least the original by Bonnie Tyler.
Nicki French - Total Eclipse of the Heart (Dance Mix)

New and nice dubby mix of "The Pop Kids" with bothersome verse minimized.
Pet Shop Boys - 'The Pop Kids (PSB deep dub radio edit)' (Official Audio)
And another nice vocal by E'voke.
This is more trancey, with a breakbeat for the first half, very floaty with bird sounds, with spacey Floydian synths for accent (think Animals or Wish You Were Here). Followed by a mid song change up to a more driving beat. Cool.
E'voke - Runaway (Biff 'n' Memphis Mix)
More of a piano / euro house version
E'voke - Runaway (UK Movin Mix)
Finally, a techno version
E'voke - Runaway (TTF 12")
Another by E'voke. Their most successful hit. Evokes Floyd again. This time Welcome to the Machine at times. Also a bit of a Rollo vibe with some breakbeat. Yum.
E'voke - Arms of Loren (Nip 'N' Tuck Original Mix)
And a nice piano house version.
E'voke - Arms of Loren (Steinway Mix)
And here's a bit of a copy paste of Robert Miles Children. Surprised there was not a legal battle over this classic pure trance sound.
Lost Tribe - Gamemaster (Original Mix)

A rather haunting track for me, somehow, crica 1995. Off beat vocal piano garage house. Wonderful vocal.

Gamemaster sounds like a good conscious trance. I like it! Also it has a good flow.
As for the legal battle, naah…back then folks where much more easy going.
Not a big fan of Pet Shop Boys, but this RMX is awesome. Partially, because it is Blank&Jones remix
Pet Shop Boys - Home And Dry (Blank & Jones Remix)
Sometimes I remember this one Dario G - Sunchyme
It just has a good vibe.
Continuing in a similar path, although, it's different, more jazzy, more funky even, and more piano play, it is a good piano tropic House track.
Orinoko - Island
There was a period, something like from 2001 to 2006, where remixes spread like wildfire, this is one of them Jan Wayne meets Lena-Total Eclipse Of The Heart, since you posted it, I instantly remembered this one.
But there where good remixes as well..I like this one Groove Coverage Moonlight Shadow
A little bit of this, a little bouncy Interactive - Forever Young
And a RMX that I actually like. Because the sharp synths.
4 Clubbers - Children
You want to talk about legal battle? Check this …
Mad'House - Like a Prayer
Limelight - Like a Prayer
The laziness of the producers is outstanding.
To finish with a little bit more better production(still on the remix wagon) here is Tiga and Zyntherius - Sunglasses At Night

One good turn deserves another.
Actually, these fantastic trance remakes are from around 1995 and the Perfecto label.
Wild Colour - Dreams (Tin Tin Out Vocal Mix)
The following remix is more "dreamy"
Wild Colour - Dreams (BT's Circadian Dream Mix)
The "original" remake mix in the slightly harder trance mode.
Wild Colour - Dreams (Perfect Club Mix)
And a very nice modern remix of Sunchyme. Very dreamy with progressive beats.
Dario G - Sunchyme (Alex H Remix)
Finally, another goodie from 1995. Trancey and progressive. And a nice peak time uplifting vocal with piano and strings with a freaky processed choral. Brings chills. Those memories.
E-Type - This is the Way (Knife n Fork Mix)
And a bit odder. A quite good Rollo mix of Simply Red. Imagine. It's a grower. May be strange. But gets to you. In a very good way. Progressive House / Trance Vocal. Too bad the transfer to the tube has some distortion.
Simply Red - Fairground (Rollo & Sister Bliss Remix)

haha. Pigtails and metal and chipmunk techo pop. Go figure!
The second link is not viewable in my area…
Here's a funny one from 1987. The music is still pretty awesome, actually.
Amanda Lear - Follow Me (12" Extended Mix)
And another strange one from back when
Grace Jones - I've Seen That Face Before (Libertango)

"B-side" to the Pet Shop Boys latest single "The Pop Kids"
Pet Shop Boys - In Bits
Also
Ultravox - Dancing With Tears In My Eyes (Special Extended Mix)
Yikes! And this extremely catchy song from the 1995 memory banks. Pure pop dance stuff - piano.
Tatjana - Santa Maria (Direct Hit Remix)
Remember this one from 1989? Techno, Trance, House all sort of mixed up. Plus piano and sax.
Guru Josh - Infinity (1990's..Time For The Guru)

Here's a great stomper from 1985. Should get you going.
Laid Back - One Life (Velvet Spike Mix)
And another trance classic I rediscovered, for a Friday.
Greece 2000 (Original Mix) (Miro Vocal Version) - 1998

Finally bought Dream Theater's latest album The Astonishing. I highly recommend it as the whole Album tells the story of a young man using his gift of music in a dark world.

That Pet Shop Boys - Here (PSB New Extended Mix) is good I must say.
Also the The Dream Academy is pretty sweet! Did not hear it before.
And the Dario G - Sunchyme (Alex H Remix) sounds nice. Really well done RMX.
Ooh, and free DL…don't mind if I do.
Three Drives - Greece 2000, the mighty tune. Sweet!

This one is great!
It is a nice project as well.
It is a 3 part video,a trilogy, that follows the story of a main character named Florian.
Even if you don't like the music(Electo/House), the story is worth checking out imho.
Here is a video all 3 in 1 Paul Kalkbrenner - The Florian Trilogy (Cloud Rider - Mothertrucker - Feed Your Head)
And here is the original upload Paul Kalkbrenner - Cloud Rider, from there you can follow the other two videos.
For me the first and the third videos are the most emotional.
And if you watched all three, then this is a good RMX Paul Kalkbrenner - Feed Your Head (Robin Schulz Remix)
Enjoy!
