Way back to the origin of house music. 1986. Yes, another classic. Still jams.

Alright, cheesing it up a bit on Friday. Here's a funny one. Check out the campy video if you are an Absolutely Fabulous fan. I guess this is techno / euro house?
Pet Shop Boys - Absolutely Fabulous (Direct Hit Remix)

Hmm… I seem to be getting to close to finding all my favorite 90's trance songs. In the remnants, there's this one. A little darker and slower. Bit of a tricky vocal stomper. More progressive, but definitely trancey with a cool organ break. Hybrid, verging on NRG. Not too formulaic.

And a stringy carnival organ remix by Tin Tin Out with some squelchy trance elements. Hypnotic.

Faster, more trancey, Verging on NRG / Hard Trance. Less melody from the the vocal.

Also this classic piano NRG track. Wonderful song and vocal. I'm sure if you are this young you'll remember the song, at least the original by Bonnie Tyler.
Nicki French - Total Eclipse of the Heart (Dance Mix)

New and nice dubby mix of "The Pop Kids" with bothersome verse minimized.
Pet Shop Boys - 'The Pop Kids (PSB deep dub radio edit)' (Official Audio)

And another nice vocal by E'voke.
This is more trancey, with a breakbeat for the first half, very floaty with bird sounds, with spacey Floydian synths for accent (think Animals or Wish You Were Here). Followed by a mid song change up to a more driving beat. Cool.

A rather haunting track for me, somehow, crica 1995. Off beat vocal piano garage house. Wonderful vocal.
Up Yer Ronson - Lost In Love (Up Yer Ronson Mix)

Gamemaster sounds like a good conscious trance. I like it! Also it has a good flow.
As for the legal battle,naah…back then folks where much more easy going.

Not a big fan of Pet Shop Boys, but this RMX is awesome. Partially, because it is Blank&Jones remix

It just has a good vibe.

Continuing in a similar path, although, it's different, more jazzy, more funky even, and more piano play, it is a good piano tropic House track.

There was a period, something like from 2001 to 2006, where remixes spread like wildfire, this is one of them Jan Wayne meets Lena-Total Eclipse Of The Heart, since you posted it, I instantly remembered this one.
But there where good remixes as well..I like this one Groove Coverage Moonlight Shadow

A little bit of this, a little bouncy Interactive - Forever Young

And a RMX that I actually like. Because the sharp synths.

Yep. An excellent track. I have this from the Disco 3 album compilation. Probably my favorite song from that compilation. It's been on my phone ever since.

A great song. Thanks for taking me back. Samples the chant from Life in Northern Town by the Dream Academy from 1985. Also a fantastic song. An atmospheric dream pop classic.

This one is great!
It is a nice project as well.
It is a 3 part video,a trilogy, that follows the story of a main character named Florian.
Even if you don't like the music(Electo/House), the story is worth checking out imho.
