Indie RPGs - Inaria - Officially Released
May 25th, 2011, 03:05
I just won it. It was short, but that was mitigated somewhat by having to restart several times across a few different beta releases.
I had a good time playing it.

I also played it, but didn't win yet. We went through many different beta releases at the end and haven't caught up to where I was at before.
What I did play I liked. It's a very old-school game and for five bucks it is totally worth it.

I asked Anthony about Paypal and here is what he had to say:
I'm currently using Dreamhost's Files Forever service because it does
the whole "buy once, redownload as many times as you wish" thing that
I like. Unfortunately, it only takes a credit card. I asked them
about adding PayPal and they said "soon" but I don't know when. Or I
could switch to something else, but seeing as how I'm already paying
for Files Forever it might make more sense to wait on Dreamhost. I
don't know yet.

Original Inaria is going to look like a more primitive version of Inaria, but with only four spells, no special abilities, a completely different world/set of dungeons, etc. It was originally written as a challenge to see if I could write a "complete" RPG in one work week, 40 hours. And now it's blossomed into a retail release! I almost can't believe it myself.

Can I buy the game for HiddenX and he downloads it somehow? Perhaps if I purchase the game and use Hidden's email address, it would send the download link there? I mean it's only 5 bucks, I think I can swing that. Let me know dev-dude.

crpgnut there is an option to "give or share Inaria with a friend" when you purchase Inaria.
Share Inaria_Installer_v1.0.exe with a friend: (enter their email address)
Give it to them. (You pay the $4.99)
x Lend it to them. (First buy a copy yourself! Or at least log in?)

@HiddenX, If you want a copy, just send me your email address in an IM and I'll order it on your behalf. I think we were emailing each other a few years ago about some game, but I don't remember if I still have your addy, or if I'm confusing you with another forum member.
