Looking at those pictures, I can think of other things to play with.

Well, it all depends on how quick she is w/ the heals & buffs, and if she can rezz or not. The first one you featured looks like she has potential rez abilities, and i've suddenly noticed a slightly warm and fuzzy buff of indeterminate qualities as of this moment all of a sudden… **trails off into glassy eyed rambling*****

A better question would be what MMO doesn't have such pretty players… most MMOs with realistic representations of the human form (ie., not WoW) portray characters as supermodels more often than not.

Personally, I'm looking for a grittier, less makeup-driven alternate reality. We already have plenty of characters with more looks than substance in real life.

Roll a Half-Elf in DDO. The only race where you need a paper bag over your head.

If I was a (cute) girl playing an MMO, I would not telegraph it across the internet. *sighs* I have seen so many rude commented directed at female MMO-ers. They are of course there, I know a few in real life, but in game most try to keep their real gender a secret.

The more important question is - how do the guys look? Those who play the game, I mean. If they're as chubby/skeletal [pick one], bespectacled, pale and fuzzy-bearded as the majority of guys who play all those other MMOs and MMORPGs, it's hardly a reason for playing this one.

*Real* females play first person shooters, anyway, leaving MMOs to, well, the weaker sex .

They are also always in a relationship. Usually grinding with their better half (recently replaced by farmville). I think we had about 5-6 couples in our old guild … with one breakup. World of Warcraft was a bit different than previous games. I heard a lot of players say this was their first game and played it because a friend invited them. Now, this might not be related to the topic at hand but who knows?

I used to play WoW a lot with my GF. You'd think that was the best of both worlds, right? Lots of gaming and sex.

Well, for a while it was.

Then it wasn't….

I don't know, I have played with hundreds of people online and developed casual friendships and its no big deal. I have a gamer friend who happens to be a girl and she was very aggressive about telling me she was a gamer chick and expects to be conversed with and told everything about the game we had been playing at the time. She actually got miffed because she thought I was ignoring her. In no time at all we were playing the game with voice-chat and partners in another MMorpg.
We actually e-mail and message each other countless times a day along with playing games. There are some interesting studies about cyber-relationships in online games and it was more common then I had thought.
