Doesn't look like there's any achievements or cloud save or that he did anything specific to Steam so it's basically the same game you could already get. Just on Steam.

I'm sure he'll sell a ton just by virtue of being on Steam, especially if it goes on sale at some point.

Yep, no other games of his are listed on steam.

Hmmm… pricing should be interesting. I'm going to register on his page for this one. The only issue for me is that I play these games on the commuter rail where wifi can be flaky and I had issues with Steam offline mode. A few times I couldn't play the Steam delivered Eschalon games because of Steam.

The price of Avadon is 7€ on steam (or or 6.29€ at the moment).

Has anyone purchased this on steam; if so can you run the .exe without steam? Most games use steam drm but a few such as dks do not. Reason I ask is i much rather run the game on my linux machine without stream….

Well this version has Steam achievements so I assume it is going to want to be run through Steam.

I think Steam is getting even worse for offline mode. It fails for me more often than it works. I'm happy I paid full price.
