How can I tell when starting a new game if the installation of cm2 and qp4 worked?

It's been a while but I think the main menu will be changed to a huge image of the Sleeper and the New Game button will turn to New Game (CM 2).
Other than that you should notice the much darker world textures from the Quest Packet straight away and all the NPCs with new names and clothes.
