Andoran - New Obivion Total Conversion
Andoran - New Obivion Total Conversion
October 7th, 2011, 13:40
Ok, it's been a while that I'm following this Russian project, and I don't think I'm the only one interested in it. Anyway, I've found strange that no one has still reported nothing about this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pq8N9Yovj8c&hd=1
(Please pay attention to the Morrowind armors
)
This is the just the intro, fortunately subtitled in English, as you can see. And here's the official page:
http://www.andoran.com/indexen.html
It's developed by a Russian team, and it's quite an ambitious project. If it will be just as they say, maybe we'll have the best Oblivion total conversion by far (and maybe a very nice RPG experience…). Too bad that they can't change the combat system, but this isn't their fault as we all know
.
And here's the link to the interview done by RPGItalia:

Let's wait and see…

Wasn't that turd called Nehrim also some kind of total conversion?
Tbh I have better expectations of that LOTR project.

Yes, Nehrim is another conversion of Oblivion, which is far better than Oblivion in many ways, even if the combat system is the same (unfortunately
).
About LOTR project, I heard of it some time ago, but I don't know if it's still in development or not.

I am sort of looking forward to this mod. I remember reading some where that they plan to release it before skyrim but I don't think thats going to happen…

Wake me if Tamriel Rebuilt is ever finished. I've had about enough of Oblivion mods to last me a life time. Doesn't matter if they're total conversions or not.
It's very impressive and pretty, but Oblivion itself is too flawed for my liking. I enjoyed Nehrim for a bit, but the boring combat mechanics caught up with me and couldn't bring myself to play anymore.

Nehrim is no turd, one can argue its better than the main quest from oblivion.

Actually I played Nehrim for 5-6 hours and I was not that impressed. And the fact it's better than Oblivion is not important since Oblivion was a turd in the first place. Comparing it to Oblivion makes no sense since Oblivion SUCKED.
