What did that poor boy do to deserve that kind of punishment?
Congrats, purple!

I was a little buzzed and thought it would be a good idea to present the sword with a bit of a flourish… Unfortunately there wasn't much space and I was a hair away from slicing somebody's face off. My own marriage was funny in a confused groom sort of way. I sort of felt like Pierre from War and Peace in that I just got swept along for the ride.

Me and Tigress just got married Oct 22nd. It was more fun than I thought, but yeah - even for our small 30 person wedding and reception it was pretty hectic getting everything in order. Just when we thought we were done, something else would pop up. "Oh yeah, flowers!" argh
We had it in an old historical church, and the organ was so old (and since we didnt have anyone to play it anyway) we hired a harpist instead. The music turned out wonderful, we were really impressed w/ this harpist. She had all the women in tears, lol

Yeah we had about 30 people at our wedding and that was more than enough, it's just a blur of talking to people and posing for photo's - exhausting!
It was a great day but we made the mistake of saying yes when the bride's father offered to do the photography - he has the attention span of a 6 year old! We have photo's of the food, people off in the distance, etc. But very few of us.
Anyway, congrats!

i hear that, we had a friend do ours. Seemed like a great idea, she's a hobbyist, always taking pics of landscapes and nature and all that.
Turns out that she's not so good at taking pictures of people, unfortunately.

Grats, Sammy and badmofo!!
Wow, I thought we are having small wedding with 50 guests
Wedding costs so much money >.> We hired professional photographer so I'm hoping photos will turn out nice. I'm extremely worried we will stuff up dance — either I will trip or my fiance will. My dress is huge with hoop.
And here is sneak preview of me in wedding dress with make up and hair done for trial.

Naw, weddings are cheap, providing you run off to another country at the drop of a hat and do it.
Nothing particularly stressful happened on our wedding day, but we had bigger problems, since we didn't know if my visa would be approved. The denial of my new work visa during a bout of "blame the immigrants!" is what prompted us to push our wedding plans forward in the first place, but thankfully all of that went through ok.
On our wedding day, we went to an Old West town, got some touristy pictures done of us and my wife's parents dressed as cowboys, then got married by a judge and went to a place called Coyote Joe's for cheap pizza. We think that was actually far more fun and relaxing than a traditional wedding would have been.
Anyway, congrats and good luck!

Congrats all!
May you always be best friends, and strive to help the other fulfill their dreams.
I still can't call it funny from my point of view, but we got married in Ky. That morning I had to pick up my husband to be and his family at the airport. In the car they were sorting out the return flight tickets for that evening as we were having a reception back in MO that evening after the afternoon one in KY with my family. My then husband to be realized he forgot to buy my return flight ticket so I could come back with him after the wedding. Worked out fine but I was not a happy camper.

Bart and Corwin should just admit that when it gets down to it, I will have the final say.
