I've had loads of dragons spawn at the college, oh no I get a soul and tons of loot, how terrible! (Yes I really love it)

I think the Dragons at Winterhold only start appearing after you've become the Archmage. At least it seemed that way to me, but I suppose it could also be main quest related.

No I started getting them soon after I became a Novice, my courtyard is filled with Dragon corpses!

And I am the archmage and have seen only one in spite of frequent trips back "home". Must be something else.

I get tons of dragons and I haven't done any main questlines except visiting greymanes, companions (Harbringer), and college (Archmage). Like darklord, I really don't mind. A dragon doesn't live long at the college
