Unofficial patches and Beamdog version

I was thinking about getting the Beamdog version of both Xenus 2 and the Precursors (when the prices drop, since the current asking prices are ridiculous). The Beamdog versions of these games have an optional fixpack which includes the Russian sound files and some of the unofficial patch changes.

My question is as follows:

Can the latest unofficial patches be applied to the Beamdog version or are these designed for the Russian/Gamersgate versions only?

Yes you can apply them, just make sure you apply the unofficial patch last.
