Crash on launching new game

Hello all,

I picked up both the Gamersgate and BeamDog versions of the game and both crash similarly when I launch a new game. I get a ctd and an error window stating "application encountered unrecoverable error and unable to continue." I've attached the crash dump. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated

edit: also crashes about 20% of the time on the opening credit videos
