Default Junction Point studios closed

January 31st, 2013, 03:13
I just read that Disney closed Junction points studios. The studio lead by Warren Spector. http://www.joystiq.com/2013/01/29/di…unction-point/

Reason for this is likely poor sales of Epic Mickey 2:

Anyhow intresting to see what Warren Spector does next. Hopefully he returns to rpg genre.

Epic Mickey 2 isn't even out yet ???

Edit : Or is it, at least for the console ?

I know that there should exist a PC port of this game as well, but no gaming mag/site ever mentions it … And I didn't see it in *any* PC games store yet as well …

Edit : I just found this in one of the both articles :

Disney's Epic Mickey 2 was a critical and commercial failure for the company, reportedly selling 270,000 copies in North America by the end of last year.

Update: New information provided places Epic Mickey 2 sales at 529,000 copies in US since November 2012 launch.
Which reads to me like : "Disney isn't interested in European sales at all. All we merely need for judging a game's success or failure are U.S. sales.
Europe doesn't interest us."
