I just heard of this. Concept sounds pretty cool. Anyone heard anything about this? Same company who made Valhalla Knights, which received poor reviews.

Easy to say - it is *much* better than Valhalla Knights.
As to how good it is, there are still some things to figure out.
But basically it is the inverse of the Dungeon Keeper style - you play as a novice dungeon builder who comes to an area ravaged by monsters including a mythic 'wandering demon'. You are a 'Hero' and therefore motivated to destroy monsters and save humanity. So you build a dungeon to lure the monsters and destroy them. But you need certain types of rooms and architecture to attract certain monsters and others won't appear until much deeper levels are reached.
I'll keep you informed.

thanks
in my previous threads I was looking for various toolsets and this was the sort of thing I was looking for.
There was an RPG Maker for Playstation once that I've heard was horrible. It was basically the same thing everytime: collect 4 objects then kill the boss. you couldn't customize it at all aside from maps.
And then..how do you distribute it or get new ones.

For this game, there are dozens upon dozens of quests across 20 dungeon levels - and you can find random dungeons to attach to your main one that will have different monsters and stuff.
As for sharing, that is done over wireless with other PSP owners.

looks kinda fun, and appears to have some good replay possibilities.
I'll certainly keep you guys informed!

Just saw a gameplay video and it looks promising. How is the gameplay? Does the "Hero" level-up at all or is it more just a matter of getting deeper with the dungeon? Does it play like a typical action-rpg re: loot/skills or does it focus mainly on building the dungeon?

Well, I submitted my preview, and am including some of it in next month's 'Whole Game in my Hand' but here are some basics:
- You do not *directly* gain experience from combat. Instead, you gain certain rewards by killing certain amounts of monsters, but primarily you gain loot and gold. Some of the loot is used to satisfy the many quests you gain from folks around town. Other stuff is armor and weapons, or items that power up your items or accessories … or stuff you sell.
- The way you 'level up' is by eating a 'daily meal'. You gather ingredients and learn recipes that level up some of your attributes.
- You build and battle at the same time - well, you build some, then battle in the previously built areas. The next day you return to find your dungeon crawling with new critters.
- Combat is pretty basic action-RPG stuff.
