The lesser evil compared to always online…if they get rid of that as well, I'll buy it.

I didn't expect that - and I'm not sure it's such a fantastic idea. But it seems to be what most people want - and we all know gamers know exactly what they want

I would have simply added a non-AH checkbox upon character creation - with separate loot tables.

It doesn't solve the unofficial market point. My bet is players don't realize what D2 items market would have been if released at same time of D3. D2 now couldn't attract the same mass of people avid to win money through the game.

D3 despite all flaws, can generate this attraction, and this will quickly generate a huge black market system that Blizzard will be unable to counter. My bet.
