Darksun: Shattered lands
Changed Gold box series to Pool of Radiance as that one in spite of its technical flaws offer an illusion of nonlinearity…
Honorable mentions to Ultima Underworld, Darklands, and the Eye of the Beholder series. Betrayal at Krondor also seems like a quality piece of work, but I prefer to stick with at least some of my characters throughout a campaign…
