Both are pretty good, but they don't really change the core of the balance issues as much as one would wish.
I've played both and they both start out harder - especially Requiem - but they both end up being too easy after a while. That might be because I always play a stealth archer - and it seems those skills are fundamentally broken in terms of being too powerful.
I prefer Skyrim Redone because it has a lot more toys (perks).

Thanks, Dart. I wound up doing a fresh re-install with A.C.E. instead, at the end of it all. I like what SkyRe sets out to do but compatibility patches for it are a nightmare…. After having spent the past 7 months doing one kind of patch or another for FNV, I want a carefree, TOS5Edit-free experience more than anything.
