As the title says, and it is DRM free. It is the Gold Edition with all DLCs at a discounted price.

Indeed it is, but I already have the gold edition on Steam!
Bring on Risen 3.
Bring on Risen 3.

I don't have gold edition. I have preorder or something edition on Steam that doesn't include the third DLC (I refused to buy it). The edition I have contains Treasure Isle DLC (I admit it's fun) and whatever useless items DLC not worth a single cent.
Instead of paying 10€ for Air Temple, I can now get the scamfree/unmassacred edition for only $12? The whole game, as it should have been on the release, now costs less than it's Air Temple DLC? And is DRMfree?
Don't say twice.
Bought it.
Risen 3?
I promise(d) you this. If on preorder or the release day I see even a mention of possible sold separately and nonstandalone DLC, I will not buy it. I've had enough of that bullshit. Give me the complete game, I'll pay any price, and then leave me alone till Risen 4.
I will not, and I'm serious, pay for a whore that has no legs because someone thought it was an awsome idea to amputate those and milk me more later. There are other whores to pay for. That are not mutilated.

1) availability of games few months after release at a much lower cost (digital or otherwise),
2) DLCs released later , and sometimes with the game at a much lower cost.
From my point of view, pre-ordering games at full price at digital age is really not justified any more (coupled with the large backlog of uplayed games wanting my attention).

Grabbed it just to support GoG……wonder if I'll actually ever play it, lol. Loved the first Risen so I suppose I'll peek at the 2nd at some point.

1. A game patched.
2. usually half price or less (often at 66-75% rebate)
3. very often with some or most DLC included
4. Hardware that is up to date with said game (since I try to follow the same curve with hardware procurement)
Sometimes (hey mass effect games, Im looking at you) I cant do it, but for me, it have generally worked out good.
#3 really sucks, I hate to buy a game and realise that it was not complete. I want it all in one complete and tidy package. I dont have time for relentles replaying just because there is a new DLC

I don't let the knowledge of DLCs stop me from playing a game when it's new if it's something I really want to play. I just wait until all the DLC is released and do a replay. If the game is worthwhile, then it's likely something I'm going to play through twice anyways.
