RPG Maker Game: Leave

I was trying to record me playing this game and I ended up stopping because it WOULD NOT go through the door with the ladder. I can get it out of the first door, move it… then when I get it to the proper door it needs to be used in. IT DOES NOT GO IN. I've been sitting here for 2 hours trying to fix it, redownloading, deleting, starting over and over and over again. I CANNOT FIND A SOLUTION. Can someone PLEASE help me out?
