Second link is a countdown, it has 5 odd hours to go.

So far all they've said is that it aims to reduce downtime, speed up play, and streamline complex aspects. I always start to feel depressed when I see 'streamline', it seems to be code for 'dumb down'. Could this be the end of spell memorisation? I'll be interested to see if they design some parts of it specifically for CRPGs. Also have to wonder what this means for the future of NWN2.
