Tip : If you can talk to animals, then make sure to talk to Rats, too ! They actually give very useful hints ! ( Albeit from their in-game perspective, of course ! )
Rat is or was their RL main web site maintainer for long years …

D:OS took everything from previous Divinity games, nothing from NWN.

Was there an RPGWatch-made hireling among the hirelings or do I remember something wrong ?
The Hirelings also don't have dialogs & backstory, no ?
I'm talking about The Homestead.

-> with a mini background story (you can only read it during selection)
but no dialog in the game

Okay, thank you.
Besides, I have arrived in the forest, but I do have a bit difficulties in understanding how the quest with the attacked travellers could be fulfilled ? I have talked to the three of them …

Tales of Arterra - great memories!

I'm puzzled ( pun intended
) by the Cyseal puzzle, which can only be accessed through 2 trapdoors … I'm totally clueless about that … And about the Guardian Statues as well ( I had really, really, really expected them to look like those from the game's loading / menu screens … and was so much utterly disappointed that they didn't look like Greek-style statues at all …
)
Meanwhile I'm waiting to get another point in lockpicking so that I'll finally be able to open Evamaria's / Evelyn's door … (Strange that they used 2 different names in English & German ??? WTF ??? )

Thank you ! I was finally able to solve both …
But I had to do a tiny bit of "pixel hunting", too …

My only tip so far. Don't play with two wizards and crafting. Its way too crazy easy. Faceroll godmode easy.

I went for the witch first.
The area is not very hard except the challenging fight against a certain boss (to make that fight simple, a hint: play it as if it was co-op). And another hint - in the area with that boss, there is a pixelhunting secret spot!
btw those spoilers are not heavy. Noone who still didn't got there can't know just by reading what are you talking about.
