In before Joxer.. Phone Game! In this case he'd be right. Kemco is primarily known for their mobile games, and I believe this is a port. My only prior experience with a mobile port was Deus Ex: The Fall… I wont be buying this.

Yes its the first of many more games to be released & ported by their European publisher, and yes Joxer hates many things as we hear his views multiple times.
I will be buying this as the majority of JRPG games nowadays are mobile games.

True, handhelds seem to be the preferred platform in Japan these days. Still, Kemco…
I believe that a recent purchase, The Legend Of Heroes: Trails In The Sky, started out as a portable title. Unlike Kemco's games, I've heard nothing but good things about Trails, and am looking forward to playing it.
Of course there's also a huge difference between porting a handheld game, vs. a tablet or phone game. I've noticed that Steam has a PC version of The Room for sell. I own both The Room, and it's sequel for my Kindle, and can't see playing them without the touch interface.
Then again, I am current grooving to Final Fantasy IV while on the go. While I'm not crazy about the touch interface, FF III's was better, it hasn't hampered my enjoyment one bit.
