Someone buy it so I can buy my *FIRST EVER GAMING DESKTOP PC!!!*

This is a monumental time period, folks! What a long way I've come from my console gaming days! Now I stand on the doorstep of a full-blown gaming desktop PC, and I literally cannot WAIT to get that baby made!
Make me an offer on my laptop! Someone, anyone! Tell a friend! Haha.

I'm confused. This seems like a pretty decent laptop (well actually seems like a pretty good desktop given its 10 pounds). Why get rid of it? I'm assuming it would suffice for most games these days.
Anyway updated my desktop this summer so not interested. (Converted old desktop to a Windows Media Center box and now its my DVR). Good luck selling it.

Full blown? Meaning FULL TOWER!!

I really want to run those intensive things, like Skyrim ENBs at 60 FPS and so on.

I think it'll be tough to sell a used laptop for that price, but I do wish you best of luck!

I think it's worth a little more than that, Mr. Toff. At least a Watchamacallit bar!

Since you can buy one brand new for $1,199 @

you might have trouble selling a used one at that price tag. But hey! A sucker is born every minute, so you might. Maybe one of your patreon supporters will support you really really big.

Come on, nut! You have to troll me better than that.
The link you posted is a laptop that is nowhere near as nice as the one I'm selling! But I'm sure you know that and you're just giving me a hard time.
The laptop I'm selling sold for $3000 from a custom gaming laptop shop about 2 years ago. It's a very nice piece of electronic equipment.

I am giving you a hard time. I picked the cheapest Alienware I could find new
I'm a desktop guy, but that is a nice rig. I think you could have gotten the same components cheaper, but Alienware is a popular name brand. They were better before being bought out by Dell.

You get some nice features with Alienware as well. AlienRespawn, Command Center, etc. Pretty cool stuff!
Come on, someone buy this dang thing from me! I know one of you out there wants to do some Steam In-Home Streaming. Just think, you could have this blazing fast, beautiful looking 1080p 17" laptop on your lap in your living room, streaming Dragon Age: Inquisition from your desktop in beautiful full HD on ultra settings.
Come onnn, buy, buy, BUY!!!

I actually played batman and the witcher 2 on my hotel TV last time I was out of town with minimal hiccups. Amazing little device really. It sounds like a nice setup but I buy my laptops for portability so only light ones for me. Also the point of streaming games is so you can run them on a powerful desktop and stream them to a weak laptop. That is way overkill for streaming.
I hope you sell it though and get to build your desktop.
There I made it through the whole post without saying you should have built a desktop in the first place. It was hard but I did it.

Nice one, saki!
At the time of buying the laptop, I needed something I could actually use on my lap! I didn't have a desk or anything set up in my old house/room, so the maneuverability of a laptop was very much needed at that time. Now that I have a nice little desk and 32" monitor hanging from my wall, I'll be able to get a proper gaming desktop built, and hopefully be able to still have a decent laptop to stream the games to, when I feel like laying in bed and gaming.
Best of both worlds.

When I sell things on ebay I put stuff at absolutely minimal price like $0.95 and I offer free shipping. That means that I usually sell things half price (couple auctions ended with starting price anyway), but sometimes people pay me more than I bought it for. For you this laptop is precious and it was pricey (well I bought mine for almost $3k four years ago too ASUS Gaming laptop - still works well), but I know that when I will be selling it I will get some "spare change", maybe hundred or two or three, but that's it. The potential buyer is fully aware that they can buy amazing rig for $2k or less.
But anyway I wish you luck and lots of money!!

I reduced the price a bit, and of course I'm accepting offers, so feel free to haggle with me!
Someone buy it so I can celebrate!
