You should be able to click on a characters portrait on the loot window to loot directly to that character instead of to the stash.
From what I remember after looting you cann look in your stash but not pull something out of it, or something into it.
If you just move the item to the stash symbol it lets you put items into the stash anyways.
And when looting you can also put items from the stash into the corpse, and then into your inventory.
I am not even sure what of that is intended and what not…

No bugs so far for me.
Though sometimes it seems special abilities selected during combat don't trigger. The borders light up but don't trigger.

Limited stash means you can't pull items out from the stash outside of safe zones, merchant and rest.
So the only "bug" there is, is that you cannot put things directly into the stash window (invnetory) but you have to shift click or drag it onto the box.

To me the combat is working out better than expected. I am not a fan of RTwP but for now I find it relatively smooth (3 characters)
1. The active abilities you have are extremely limited, and you dont put ability behind ability for the whole duration of the fight, because you don't have so many (Path of the Damned Difficulty).
2. The AI is better than expected. I didnt actually expect that they would switch targets so easily. Which of course makes it harder for the non-tank classes but also more fun.

ive found myself agonizing over what talent/whatever else on the tabs to pick upon leveling.
How many points do we get per level, at what level, and in what?
Usually, early on it doesnt matter all THAT much, but still. I'm not that much of a powergamer, but I still want her to be formidable

Most of the time it seems we get one point for those things on level up, BUT, sometimes you get a point to pick something else, talents I believe they are called. I'm not sure of the proper terminology as I don't have the game open yet. But that's one of the great things about the game, agonizing over your build and also building the character exactly the way you want to! The possibilities are endless.

Level 12 is max.
Every level up you get 6 skillpoints, so 11*6=66 total.
Every even level you get one talent decision, so 6 total.
Every odd level (including level 1) you get one ability, also 6 total.

Reclick them, that's probably because the character was interrupted by engagement. I'm not sure if the option to "continue on disengagement" stop that from happening though.

Thrasher, the same thing happens to me sometimes. The skill is outlined, yet it doesn't trigger. Usually the character isn't even close to the frontline of combat and just stands there. Once, my Priest started glitchy shuffling to the edge of the screen without casting the spell! Bizarre.

Yeah I get interrupted abilities and spells all the time. Really good so far, barely scratched the surface.

Finished character creation, just a bit into the game, bestestest first impresions. Lots of love in the game. UI at least. Cannot see any disadvantage in my 16:10 monitor resolution (someone on YT mentioned it was made with 16:9 in mind). With my gaming schedule and assumed size of the game, I'll finish it in a year maybe.
Wish there was a better image for my nature godlike. I chose the image with that godlike dreamer with flowers, he looks like a ballet dancer.

I'm going to play around with the new Nvidia downsampling later, and see how pretty I can make this look.

They have just unbundled games (if you have any game packs in your library you will see they have been split out into single games) which implies to me it's not too far away. Certainly before Witcher 3 is released I would guess.

One of the devs. said they saw someone working on new portraits for the game. Maybe they'll release them in a patch.

So, I only had 2 hours to play last night…and I spent the entire damn time on the character creation screen. So many choices! It's funny, I normally don't spend that much time on character creation - I think Arcanum was the last time I really agonized over what type of character I wanted to be - and I think that's a sign of PoE's good design. All the choices are at the very least interesting.
I did go with a cipher, and that should be an interesting choice. I was able to play the tutorial dungeon and a little further so far today, and the cipher definitely seems better in a party than on its own. More of a "complimentary" class, so to speak, but one with very useful abilities if used in the right circumstance.
I am seriously impressed so far. I'm still really early, but it seems that a lot of my biggest complaints about the IE games have been addressed. The writing is stellar so far as well. I think this is going to be quite a special RPG.
I also wanted to add that it has been ages since I had this type of giddy feeling in the first few hours of a new RPG.

I'm going to play around with the new Nvidia downsampling later, and see how pretty I can make this look. The textures are pretty low res in many cases, so there's little to be gained at the higher resolutions. Pity, but it's hardly going to detract from a game like this.
