Dunno nothing about that.
Didn't even know this game exists before - visited akella site the other day to check if anything new happened and spotted it there on russian part then went into research what it is.

My original post back in 2011.
Nice that they try, but if i recall correctly the IP belongs to Akella, which is almost bankrupt and might end up bought by one of their rivals (Nival or 1C Publishing). So i'm not exactly convinced that they will be able to release the game, after three years since the russian launch, on the western market.

I really don't know what happened (or is happening) with Akella.
Their forum (ru) is dead, there are no news, they advertise some suspicious gama-gama site and are involved in some bloody pay2win browsergame called Alliance Warfare which looks almost exactly as Innogames' Forge of Empires.
A sad end for once promising company.
Dunno who holds IP rights for PO.

The right question is who holds the rights for the Corsairs series (Corsairs is the russian name for the game pirate series). Akella also owned the Disciples IP, so that would be interesting to see if they still have the rights or they've sold it.
