Line-In "Currently Unavailable" ? (Audio related)
May 15th, 2015, 19:26
Hi!
I am having an issue with my soundcard. For some reason, the Line-In function is not working. It shows as "Currently Unavailable" in the volume settings, and no audio works when it is hooked up to it.
If I set it as the default device, it shows as ready, but then my microphone becomes "currently unavailable", and still no sound comes out of the Line-In, even if I listen to the device.
So, my end goal is to be able to record my Mic 1 input (headset) whilst recording the audio from my PSP in the Line-In. So far it's not working, so I'm hoping someone here can help me out a bit.
My soundcard is the Soundblaster Audigy Rx 7.1 on a Windows 7 64-bit machine.
Please help! Thanks!

1. Install slimdrivers freeware
2. Check drivers
3. Since it's just soundcard that's behaving, update only that one
4. Uninstall slimdrivers so it doesn't annoy you
In the case there was no fresh driver, use DriveForLife to check/repair bad drivers
