I experienced that too - but I thought it was part of the process - that a monster might spawn upon destroying the nest. Seems to happen at random.

Yeah - it was off duty, sleeping down there in the Nekker bunk house, when it was rudely awakened by forever's bomb. Whilst all it's mates were killed in the bomb blast, by some freak chance it was thrown clear and then…

That happens occasionally, and it's good when it does - it provides an extra 50xp and is considered something of a "special monster" (for example a Devourer will jump out of a Rotfiend nest, instead of a regular Rotfiend).

Yeah, I noticed the extra XP and wondered why I didn't get the same at each nest. Nice to know it's not another glitch
