Finished late last night TW3

I fell from my chair and nearly broke my neck, the way Geralt delivers…"Laaaambert, you're a genius!".

I also loved the Rock Trolls in this game. They were really well done very funny most of the time.

After 146 hours - I'm done too.
Final thoughts? This is a musthave game. Regardless if one loves the genre or not.
But only for those who learned to read. Others should stick with Candy Crush Saga.
Whoever didn't buy this one yet, do it as soon as possible and prepare for an epic journey. Don't think if the game is less than 30 gigs it can't last longer than Wolfenstein. It can and it will! And in the end you'll wish there was more.
Biggest WTF moment? When I saw in credits:
Special thanks to EA Origin.

Not sure if my ending was good or bad, didn't look too bad to be honest.
What's next… I have yet to finish one of the most horrible games from last year (AC:Unity), only the last mission left. Probably will do it just to finally uninstall that Ubi's garbage of my rig. After that, will throw a dice between PoE and FC4. Yea… Blackguards 2 will have to wait. Again.

So? It's also in ubi's uplay shop, but they didn't thank them:

I think there is something going on we're not aware of. Yet.

Finished the game and I got the depressing ending. Next time I'm using a guide…but that will wait.
Finished it in ~70 hours at level 36. Not playing Gwent helps a lot, as does not exploring everywhere. There are villages north of Novigrad I never explored.
Really good games, excellent dialogues and atmosphere. Although I personally think there was a lack of optional dungeons. I kinda like my open world games to have them. Also, at some point I just stopped caring about looting stuff, over 100 pounds of crafting materials and no point in crafting anything.
I also saw an increase in bugginess the more advanced I was in the storyline. I even had to reload because Geralt was stuck after a cutscene at some point. I also hear lots and lots of footsteps in cutscenes and at some point I saw what was the problem because a scene was delayed (Geralt is running in walls while the cutscene is playing).
Now I'm going back to SWTOR (need to finish those class stories) and will start XCOM (which I bought cheap last week on sales).

In a way I got a depressing end for my Geralt who ended up solo because of trying to get both Yen and Triss. But if I didn't do that, I wouldn't ever see my personal favorite subquest!
Next replay I just won't take the same path choices and Geralt will go happyend with one of them I hope. Who needs a guide?
Although I won't replay the game right away.

OMG no gwent, no roads/settlements exploration, you nuts?!

I wanted to add this. Started up AC:Unity. Tried, seriously, tried with all my goodwill to do that last mission I left for later because the game became more boredom than Oblivion ever was. Yea, I know it sounds impossible… Well, that's how it is.
And I just couldn't make it work. Just couldn't accept the torture with that last mission. After TW3 I just couldn't bare any more second of that bullshit game.
AC:Unity got uninstalled and there is no way I'd ever suggest someone to buy that thing, even on 90% discount.
Dice determined - FC4 next.

But one thing I'm sure. Side quests, of which some you obviously missed, do change the world. I'm unsure if and how they affect the ending, but… TO be safe, don't skip exploration. I've explored and did just about everything (only some jade figurine quest was impossible to finish) before the end.

The world--in some ways--doesn't seem to be built for free exploration.

What tower?
Btw it doesn't matter if you explored something before a quest - usually that means fasttravel available to somewhere when a quest arrives.

It doesn't break the quest if you arrive early, but because I arrived early, I've already seen the place and that could reduce the impact. I'm not sure, because I was just about to go in again armed with the quest last night. It was fun and scary exploring that tower the first time, anyway.

And now

Perhaps I'm wrong and the other part of the quest happens in any case, but without someone testing it (LOL), just can't be sure.

And besides, there is another sidequest that happens later in the lower part of that island which was a good thing - I missed before to spot an underground room in ruins with a nifty loot.

Man, this game is a goldmine of C&C, lol.
That reminds me, did anyone solve the mystery of prayer (heard) on three wooden statues in Skellige? I thought I'll get a quest or something about it eventually, but… No dice. Or I skipped to notice something.
I thought of instasecond playthrough as I usually do, but honestly, I don't want to replay the game right away because of those incoming DLC freebies.

Yeah that part was rather dumb. Not the best writing in an otherwise great story. Stands out.

The first outcome felt really weird. I know she's a sorceress and all, but one moment we were friends and the next we were trying to kill each other? Didn't seem natural at all. I hope she doesn't tell Yennifer, though.
