Those are two separate chains: pc and consoles like Dart. So I only don't have a console anymore, sorry I'll make it clear. Of course you could count a smartphone as a console

Pong - Atari 2600 - Sega Genesis - PS2 - Xbox 360

TRS-80/Apple IIc (in school) - IBM PC Jr - i486SX - i486DX - Pentium - Pentium MMX - Pentium 4 - i5 Quad Core

I was never really up to date with the consoles, except the Atari 2600. All the others I got a few years into the life cycle. The PS2 and XBox 360 were really for the kids. Ive done 99% of my lifetime gaming on the PC

Same here. C64 -> PC. Never owned a console, a handheld or a mobile phone.

Got the C64 in 1987 or 88 I think, when I was 5 or 6, so quite a while after it was first released, but quite early considering my age. First memorable Game Experience was with Giana Sisters and then Operation Wolf and Commando.

Exchanged that for a PC in 1993, with the first one being a 80386. Don't remember the first games I played anymore. Eye of the Beholder 1 was probably one of them. First Game I actually bought was Day of the Tentacle.

I grew up with consoles. My lineage kind of looks like this:

Atari -> Nintendo -> Super Nintendo (also had a Sega Genesis later on) -> Playstation -> Playstation 2 (also had an Xbox later on) -> Xbox 360 -> PC

I did play PC games early on as well. I played Asheron's Call for a whole summer when it first came out on a not-so-great PC at the time. Around the PS2 era when I finally had a decent computer, I played games like Diablo 2 and some multiplayer RPG/strategy games with my uncle via a local LAN network. That was fun.

One thing remained the same throughout all these systems - I loved RPGs. Whether I was walking a mile to the local video game store with $2 in my pocket to spend on a game rental, or downloading the games on Steam (and sometimes other sources, "back in the day" ), I always loved the RPGs the most.

Pong --> Atari 2600 --> Amstrad PCW (well, it had a chess game --> NES -->
PC --> SNES --> PSOne --> PS2 --> XBox --> mobile phone --> XBox 360.

The PC remains my main platform for first person shooters and sneaker games (I got it specifically for W3D) while consoles are my main platform for beat'em up games. My RPGs are spread evenly across both platforms.

Hehe, nice shot

I do vaguely remember playing something like Pong and that little tank game where you tried to hit each other with a few obstacles on the map. Not sure what kind of system it was. I think I remember Atari in relation to it, but I must have been like 4 years old or so.
