EU servers been fine today, I've actually hardly been thrown out at all

Ya, besides a brief interruption Sunday morning local time I was on and off all weekend, I'm on the NA cluster, bit of luck of draw. Welcome to online gaming though, outages are an expected evil, the regular weekly maintenance falls on Monday night prime time here. Every week. With Eve-online it's every day. If a bit of downtime is making you reconsider a sub perhaps having a subscription isn't for you.

It's been mostly okay today. Some brief outages in the early am. I need to get a crafter to make me some Julianos/Seducer gear. Any takers? Let's see, I'm in Khenarthi's Roost if it matters. I'm not too knowledgeable about this mmo stuff.

Are you CP 160 yet? It's not a high priority to get a crafted set before then.

I'm level 3. I just heard a lot of folks in zone asking for this set, so I thought it was needed. I have no idea what CP 160 is and I doubt I'll ever reach it
People were crafting, I think, because you couldn't stay connected long enough to do anything useful…Okay, level 7 now and back in Auridon. I've played about 15 Templars for the first few levels trying to get a feel for the class.

Any crafted gear at your current level would be very inferior in just 5 levels FYI. For now just use weapons and armor that you find or get from quests. I did that all the way to level 50 CP 160 which is where it makes sense to get crafted items as item level does not go up anymore at that stage.

CP is when … well, while 50 is officially the level cap, you will still get experience rewards in the outward form of champion points. You can spend those points on passive skills.
All the champion points your level 50 characters collect will be available for all of your characters on that account. My main sorc tank is a level 50 character who has earned (and spent) 236 CP. But my lowliest character, a lvl 3 dragon knight, can also spend 236 CP to boost her passives! So if you adventure with your level 50, all your characters will benefit from his or her rewards.
The current CP cap is 600.

Alot of the add-ons that I tried from the link in the OP showed as out of date and a couple threw errors that made me have to end task to get out. Do you guys have any more up to date must have suggestions for add-ons? I know I could search for lists, but I was interested in what you guys might be using

HarvestMap is vital, IMO. I would not play ESO without it.

I still find myself playing this; which really surprises me. I just figured I wouldn't be able to get past all of the social aspects enough to enjoy it for long. To be honest, I don't even see the other players unless I'm in a dungeon. It's very easy to ignore them in the open world.
The reason it is working for me, I think, is they've really nailed exploration. There is just a ton of variety in the environments and there is a strong nostalgia factor when coming across locations, creatures, and items from previous games. Also, the game is just huge. This aspect really grabs the explorer part of my brain and pumps it full of joy.
The biggest negative is boring combat. I like mages and only having 5 or 6 skills active at a time is a major downer and the hotkey system is really limited so that console players aren't outmatched completely by pc owners. I've been able to enjoy the game best by ignoring most combat. Unless a creature can slow me down or root me, I just run past unless there is a logical reason to fight the creatures.
Let me especially hail the Skyshards idea. Having these suckers hidden all around the landscape is just a wonderful carrot for this nut to follow. Every 3 skyshards awards a skill point and that is irresistible to me.
I've gone into dungeons I have no prayer of living through, hoping to sneak behind a more powerful person/group long enough to reach the skyshard. I go in naked so that when I get killed my gear doesn't lose durability
I'm not there to fight, just loot the skyshard and get out. I'll complete it once I've leveled up some.
I'd drop this game in a flat second if an open world single player game came along, but this will tide me over nicely in between replays of all those games. I'll probably just keep the subscription active, so that I can just drop in whenever I feel like it.
Any other MMO's that have nailed exploration like this?

If your not there yet, at level 15 you get to equip a second weapon and swap between them at any time (even in combat) thus doubling your combat abilities.

I think I'm level 13 so it should be soon. If I didn't start over every couple days, I'd be level 50 by now! I've created at least 20 characters by now playing them for a few levels and then deleting them and trying another build. This is my modus operandi in several games. I love creating characters, I guess.

Hi,
I'm Hidden Lobo in ESO (EU Server).
After 325 hours I've finished all main campaigns and I'm level 50 (CP 212) now.
I'm fighting my way through the add-ons and I've already killed an Emperor in PvP

Bethesda mailed us this:
We’re thrilled to announce that Bethesda will host a Free Play Week for The Elder Scrolls Online starting tomorrow and running all the way through April 18 across all platforms, including PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac. That’s seven full days for players to adventure through Tamriel, build and grow characters, conquer Delves and Dolmens, and unravel another incredibly epic Elder Scrolls saga.
Maybe you’ve been reading about our enormous new Chapter, The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind, coming June 6 or you’ve heard about how players at Game Informer, MMORPG.com, and MassivelyOP.com all voted ESO the ‘Best MMO of 2016’ and wondered what you might be missing. This is the best chance to find out for free and hone your skills before heading back to Vvardenfell in June.
The Free Play Weekend will include:
• No Restrictions: Access to the full The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited base game. Go where you want, when you want, and with who you want in the massive open world and build your hero however you see fit.
• 500 Free Crowns: Everyone receives 500 Crowns to spend in the Crown Store on fun costumes, unique pets, helpful scrolls, and more.
• Progress Retention: Any characters created, Crown Packs purchased, or Crown Store items bought, as well as any progress made during the Free Play Week will carry over when you purchase the game.
• Try and Buy … At a Discount: During the Free Play Week, you’ll enjoy a discounted price on either The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited (the base game) or The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition, which includes the base game as well as the four major DLC packs: Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, and The Dark Brotherhood.
Whether you’re looking to quest online with your friends, or just want to head back to Tamriel by yourself for another epic Elder Scrolls adventure, ESO provides you the freedom and flexibility to play how you want to play.
How and When to Get into the Free Play Week
Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam players can begin downloading tomorrow at 10am eastern.
Players should navigate to The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited on the PlayStation Store, the Xbox Store, or Steam and download the game. Once the game is downloaded and players have created an account, they can login and play immediately.
