They release a couple of screenshots, from the Hearts of Stone expansion, and I must say it looks lovely. I love the bright screenshots. And the one with Geralt dancing with Shani. I can't wait. I probably won't be getting into the expansion until the second one comes out next year, since I'm currently reading the Witcher novels, and plan on replaying W1/2 before restarting my W3 playthrough. And I hope to have both expansions out by then.

I'll try playing this again after the expansions are released and - hopefully - some mods are out that make items worth looking for, so I have a reason to explore.

They're saying the suggested level for starting them is around 30.

The launch trailer looks all kinds of awesome. Excitement levels are through the roof. And I love the idea of tackling the issue of immortality. I really hope they go into the philosophical issues that come with that. It has great potential.

It's available now. I'm downloading as I type this, but I haven't decided if I'm going to play it right away.

It's 2.1 GB if anyone is curious. Only 1/8 the size of that last patch.

Yeah that struck me as well. Compared to 1.10 it's TINY!

For GOG, at least for me I think, it seems to have been pre-loaded as part of the 1.10 patch. That patch was 17gigs for me, on GOG. Because last night, when the clock hit 2:00, the game was available, but it didn't do any download.

And checking the expansion downloaded separately, it's reported by GOG at 4 gigs.

I'm on GOG as well so you are most likely right but how about those who decided not to buy HoS? Did they get over 2 gigs of stuffing with 1.10?

You need to check the Heart of Stone DLC in Configure in GOG Galaxy to get it to download. I was at 1.10 and it wasn't downloaded for me.

I started it yesterday. I either don't remember how to play this or the new content is harder then in the main game and that's just for the wildlife.

Seems like I need to change my comment about the content being harder. My game was not on normal like I expect it to be. I mixed the difficulty level with Gwent.
