Default X-01 power armor exists in the game!

November 18th, 2015, 20:48
I thought it won't be in the game (Enclave tech) but I just found incomplete one during certain *no spoiler!* Goodneighbor quest wile exploring the area where it's basically hidden as it's not on the path to the quest goal.

It has only two parts (torso of HP 560 and right arm 140) and it's maybe not a biggie but… Did anyone found anything else related to Enclave or more parts somewhere except FEV monster at Swan's Pond?

While I could take BoS presence as something not so huge because if anyone could be interested in dealing with Institute it's them, but what's Beth's excuse for Enclave tech here?

Sorry for greenish pic, but it was dark in those caves I had to use pipboy light (TAB hold toggle):

I hate to tell you this, but the power armors in the game are apparently level-scaled. You found that X-01 armor because you were over a certain level when you discovered it. Had you been a lower level, it probably wouldn't have been X-01.

I agree. I was quite disappointed when I found out.

And I hoped since it's carefully hidden…
A huge letdown on my side.

But I'm level something below 40, what would I find if I went there on dunno level 60?
X-01 MK5 or something?

Bad design. Bad.

I've stripped a few of these suits off dead Steel fools, after splitting their skulls with my axe o death. I think I have like fifty of these suits now surrounding my castle, as a fair warning to any steel fool that might think of entering my realm.

Now this is getting rediculous. This is 11th or 12th power armor I found in the game, this time it's full one, and it's… I mean… Apart from a few tough bosses I didn't use PA almost anywhere at all!

And I basically didn't even touch the main story!!!
Maybe I should.

How many MK versions are in the game anyway?
