Gah, almost every new game these days kills my interest with "roguelike", "randomization", "procedurally generated", "permadeath" etc. I know it appeals to a certain audience, but the older I get, the less I seem to appreciate it
Do others follow the same cycle: read about new game, get excited by screenshots, eagerly read more… then hit the words above and weep into their tea/coffee (metaphorically)?
Edit: Rant over. Sorry.
