Default XCOM 2 - Long War Studios to make Mods

That's too bad that the class is such a sticking point for you.

As someone who loves PC gaming it sad to see a fellow PC gamer shun a rare AAA PC exclusive.

Poor sales will only reinforce to dev's and publishers that games should be made for consoles first.

Good. Let them scam console audience with season passes and leave PC alone.

Well, we'll never agree on that so no since in arguing and creating animosity.

I'll be buying the deluxe version on release so I'll get they class when it's released. I probably won't get time for much playing before then anyway.

Now that's the most interesting part.
Deluxe version includes season pass and I can buy it for cca 80€. The problem? I don't get everything on day one. If I did, I'd buy it, no question asked regardless of the price.

I just don't want to wait 9 months for the baby getting born.

Where is written in the article that these upcoming mods (from the partnership Long War + Firaxis) will be "sold" instead of "being available for free" ?

From what I did read, I couldn't see that. If anyone does happen to have a more detailed info about that, please write it down here or post the URL.

Probably Firaxis joined Long War Studios because of their widely recognized reputation to make great mods, and this way, helping Firaxis to test and fine-tune the new Mod tools developed for Xcom2.

Just my 2 cents here!

This is cool: like the direction modding is heading with studios recognising the potential for more mod content, hopefully just not too monetized…

Just picked up the deluxe version of xcom 2 on greenman gaming for $54.99. Eager to check it out.
