An exciting collaboration between The Heroic Legend of Arslan anime and the action-infused Warriors series! The exhilaration of plowing through large armies has been fused together with the charm and style of the world crafted in the anime.I also fond a new interview on capsule computers.
Experience the grand historical fantasy with ARSLAN: THE WARRIORS OF LEGEND!
Shared visual style and talented voice actors help players relive the anime!
Single-handedly scatter enemies, then wipe them out with special Rush units in this new form of Warriors action!

Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have made quite a name for themselves with the Dynasty Warriors series and over the last few years they have been branching out that style of gameplay into numerous anime and manga adaptations beginning with Gundam. Now the latest series to be given the Warriors treatment happens to be a bit fresher for anime fans in the West as it happens to be a game for The Heroic Legend of Arslan. With Arslan: The Warriors of Legend set to be released this week in the West, we had a chance to ask a few questions about the game.

I never saw the appeal of the '1 vs 1000' games like Dynasty Warriors. I tried it once and, sure it gives you a nice exciting rush for a bit, but then I felt numb and almost dizzy after several minutes of killing wave after wave button smashing the controller.
I did enjoy a game called Bladestorm in the PS3 which was more like '1 vs a dozen', about an alternate reality hundred year war.
Still, I applaud that more and more Japanese style games are making their way into the PC. Perhaps one day we'll get Lost Odyssey, which is the only JRPG I really miss since I never owned an Xbox 360 (or Xbone if they add it to the backwards compatible list).

Arslan Senki (2015) was described by it's audience as a mediocre anime that didn't do justice to the source (manga/books) material. I didn't watch it, in fact skipped it deliberately because of the input.
I'm not excited over anime2game on such basis.
By first look, graphics options look impressive for a port (taken from PC invasion site) - 4K available, it's rare to see something like that in a port:

Modern plague affected even this game, I don't want to pay for since I don't use it is:
- Online Coop
They should remove it and drop the overblown price (60€!). Sell as DLC or season pass I don't care, I just don't want it and am sick of paying for multiplayer garbage I won't ever use.
Apparently (again!) developers emulate mushrooms with the keyboard and without mouse so controls are placed on keys not logically and without thinking if it's easy to adapt to or is annoying:

Another modern plague that happens again with this game is listing i7 as a recommended CPU. Puh-lease. I have yet to see a game that desperately needs i7 to run smoothly (even microstutter-o-rama AC4 can be "fixed" by overclocking your duo-core because the game puts a pressure on just one core and doesn't care if it's i7 or anything else).
The major plus however is that the port is japanese audio with english subtitles. Also apparently, I don't have the game so can't speak for sure but it's a proper thing to do. Those who can't read and can't enjoy original VO emotions can go play Candy Crush Saga.
Maybe I go for it when it's price heavily drops and if I hear UI feels comfortable.

all the controls are in xbox controls and only way to find out what to us ewhen is to constatly look into the controls…I still can't understand why Steam allowed this in the catalogue without specifying that the game cannot be played without mushrooms if it's that bad.
